Introducing Ordinex Scout — Private Beta

Today we're opening private beta access to Ordinex Scout — the first module of the Ordinex platform.

Scout solves one problem: cross-border operators spend too much time screening 1688 products and still make worse decisions than they should. Spreadsheets don't scale. Browsing 1688 manually is slow and inconsistent. You can't build a repeatable process on top of either.

Scout is what we built instead.

What Scout does

Bulk import from 1688

Export your 1688 product list and drop it into Scout. It parses the file, deduplicates SKUs, and loads everything instantly — no formatting, no manual entry.

A full batch of 500 products is ready to screen in under 30 seconds.

Keyboard-driven triage

Scout is built for speed. Keyboard shortcuts let you mark products Pass, Maybe, or Fail without touching the mouse. Undo with a single keystroke. Move through a batch of 200 products in 20 minutes — not two hours.

The interface is intentionally minimal. Your attention stays on the product data, not the tool.

Smart filters

Filter your batch by:

• Monthly sales volume
• Price range
• Listing age
• Category
• Repurchase rate
• Any custom field from your export

Bulk-fail an entire filtered segment in one click. If everything under 50 monthly sales is a fail by default, eliminate them as a group — don't touch them one by one.

Annotation and shortlisting

Add notes to any product. Star your shortlist. Track your TikTok cross-check status per item.

Everything stays attached to the product — not in a separate doc, not in your head. When you come back to a batch a week later, you know exactly where you left off and why.

Decision history

Scout tracks what you passed on and why. Three months from now, when a product resurfaces in a new batch, you'll see that you already evaluated it — and what you decided.

This is the feature that took longest to build and the one users tell us matters most.

Built from 250,000+ real product screens

Scout wasn't designed by committee. We built it while running our own sourcing operation, and we've used it to screen more than 250,000 products across our own batches.

Every feature exists because we needed it. Every shortcut exists because the mouse was too slow. Every filter exists because we were applying it manually and wasting time.

Who Scout is for

Scout is for cross-border e-commerce operators who:

• Source from 1688
• Sell on TikTok Shop, Shopee, or Lazada in Southeast Asia
• Screen more than 100 products per batch
• Are ready to move past spreadsheets

If you're still at the stage where a spreadsheet works fine, Scout is probably premature. If you've outgrown it — or you know you will — Scout is ready.

How to get access

Beta access is invite-only. We're onboarding operators carefully — we want to make sure Scout actually fits your workflow before we scale.

We're not optimizing for signups. We're optimizing for operators who actually use it and tell us what to build next.

What's coming next

Scout is the first of several modules. The roadmap is built from our own operations:

• Intel — sell-through tracking and reorder signals based on actual sales velocity
• Orders — purchase order management tied directly to your Scout shortlist
• Suppliers — supplier scorecards built from real order history, not impressions

We'll ship these in sequence. Scout is the starting point because sourcing decisions are where the most value gets lost first.
